Business Challenge: We worked with a leading “micro mobility” company that had fleets of e-bikes and scooters in major metros around the world. Despite more than 150 million trips per year, the company had very little insight into who its riders are.
Our Approach: We developed a custom, multi-national quantitative and qualitative study of the company’s best riders. During quantitative research, we profiled these riders on ride behavior, choice drivers, barriers, preferences, demographics, psychographics and more. In follow-up focus groups, we fleshed out these insights, and developed conceptual paths for the company to pursue deepening
existing relationships and recruiting new “lookalike” riders.

Outcome: This research wrapped in Q1 of 2025, and the
company is currently using our insights to develop new go-
to-market plans to grow in competitive markets.
